Description
Toyota is an automobile brand known for their attention to detail and for producing vehicles that maintain their value over a long-term period. Perhaps that is why Toyota recently surpassed GM as the leading car manufacturer in the United States. When Interstate Toyota of Airmont, NY needed to hire a New York Commercial General Contractor that specializes in automobile dealership renovations, they turned to Centurion Companies Inc.
Interstate Toyota’s management team’s biggest concern besides the overall cost and budget, was the need to continue their Sales and Service operations during the renovation process. “Luckily for us, Centurion has many years of experience in auto dealership remodeling and were able to make us feel comfortable moving forward with a multi-phased renovation plan” explains Interstate Toyota General Manager, Teodoro Maldonado. “Centurion’s team was considerate and worked efficiently to not only complete our dealership renovation on time, but also to do so without significantly disrupting our business.”
In this project, Centurion built a new showroom, update the service center, gave the entire building a beautiful new exterior and installed a brand-new car wash in the service area. Interstate installed exterior ACM panels and a new entry portal in accordance with Toyota’s sleek new “Image 2” program. The Toyota Image USA II design expresses Toyota’s core values of quality, durability, and reliability while satisfying the needs and desires of their customers and dealers alike. “These types of projects are not your typical tenant fit out jobs. They are better suited to auto dealership construction company that understands how to manage a phased project schedule,” says Christopher Poppe, PE, CEO of Centurion Companies.
Like most automobile brands today, Toyota is keenly focused on customer journey and experience. From their branded content on television and digital media to the look and feel of their brick-and-mortar locations, millions of dollars are spent to make to the entire image feel cohesive and on purpose. Customer amenities, like a business center in customer waiting areas or a service drive through where customers can exit their cars and speak with technicians in a climate-controlled area are becoming standards for many auto dealerships throughout the United States. Centurion Companies Inc is at the forefront of helping dealership owners like Interstate Toyota make their dreams a reality.
